If you have ever tried online dating then I am pretty sure that you will have found out the hard way that up until now, there has been no such thing as free membership! What free membership actually means is that you can create an account for free and search, but you can’t send any messages to fellow members which makes the whole exercise pretty useless. With these type of dating sites you also need to be aware that not all of the profiles are 100% genuine.
As well as profiles being purchased in bulk, many online dating sites have their own staff creating fake profiles and in turn they strike up conversations with members in order to get the free members to upgrade and pay for membership. Don’t forget that free membership means you wont be able to reply to any messages!
Wouldn’t it be refreshing if there was an online dating site which features genuine profiles and has no membership fees at all.
Get ready to sit up and take notice because I have come across a new free online dating site which is all set to become the most popular dating site in the UK. The site is called MatchMeHappy.co.uk and it is a nice user-friendly site with good navigation. There are a couple of minor flaws but this is to be expected from any new website, but the thing about MatchMeHappy is, that they will welcome your feedback and take the appropriate actions.
There is another free dating site called Flirtbox. I have to say that I didn’t find this site as user-friendly as MatchMeHappy and the name of the site, Flirtbox is a big giveaway that you are probably going to only connect with players. Again, the site is 100% free and it will in my opinion suit members who are simply looking for fun and casual relationships.
While not strictly a dating website, there is the application called Online people which you can find on Facebook. This application is 100% free and you can start searching and messaging people straightaway. It’s pretty fun and easy to use.
Plenty Of Fish is a free site. However, recently charges to unlock certain features have been introduced but most importantly you can still send and receive messages to other members of the platform for free. The website was created by Markus Frind in 2003 and it generates revenue through advertising instead of membership fees.
PlentyOfFish is the world’s largest online dating site, with over 70 million registered users. As with any online dating site, how good or bad the experience is dependent on the users! On a positive note, with POF you can be sure there are no fake profiles created by the site itself. Read all about PlentyOfFish and how it started right here
